WINES:

  1. Sunday Mountain Sauvignon Blanc - Marlborough, New Zealand
    1. This is an aromatic and fruity summer sipper bursting with passion fruit and guava and backed by tomato leaf and bell pepper notes. The palate is crisp but not searing, with perhaps a touch of residual sugar balancing out the acidity.
  2. Capitelles Des Fermes Chardonnay - Languedoc, France
    1. This wine is a brilliant yellow, with ashes of green. It has a fruity and owery nose, and is a well-balanced and structured wine on the palate, with a solid expression of the soil in which it has grown, and a citrus nish.
  3. Lamoreaux Landing Riesling - Finger Lakes, NY
    1. Apricots explode from a glass of this semi-dry riesling. With other notable aromas of citrus, red apple, and melon, this beautifully balanced Riesling reveals hints of honeydew melon on the palate before finishing with a rush of white peaches, which linger.
  4. Badia a Coltibuono Sangiovese Chianti Classico - Tuscany, Italy
    1. The color is bright ruby, the nose unveils layers of iris, violet, tobacco, black pepper and marasca cherry. The taste is well balanced, tightly knit with supple tannins, mineral notes, a mouth cleansing fresh acidity. Warm and persistent.
  5. Morande Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - Maule Valley, Chile
    1. A plush, ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with excellent fruit definition: cassis, plum and raspberry are given a savoury edge with notes of chocolate and clove spice. Seamless tannin creates a fine textural backdrop for the complex flavours, lifted by the mintiness typical of the Maipo valley.
  6. Peirano Estate Old Vines Zinfandel - Lodi, California
    1. A medium bodied expression of this grape with delicate red and dark fruits. A touch of vanilla and spicy oak flavors support the wine with a plush mouth feel.
